Description

We are a defense contractor that has supported government and military training efforts since 1978. We began supporting foreign military sales efforts in naval aviation, but have since branched out to support all branches of the military and all combat roles. The training we provide spans all instruction methods to include computer-based courseware, apps for smart devices and tablets, classroom and on-site instruction and virtual simulation.

The P-3 Pilot SME will work as a P-3 Operator Project Team member, performing technical training of aircraft systems during foreign military transition/integration training.  The SME will be required to perform basic positional courseware development/update and provide classroom instruction, Practical Job Training (PJT), and simulated flight instruction.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • P-3 Fleet Replacement Pilot Category 1 and P-3 Fleet Instructor Training Course (ITC) graduate.

 Experience:

  • Officer Designator code 1310 or 1315.
  • SME must have a minimum five years of experience as a P-3 pilot.
  • Must have experience as a Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) Instructor Pilot (IP) or Squadron IP.
  • Requires current or previous qualification as a P-3C UIII/AIP Patrol Plane Commander (PPC); with a minimum of one operational deployment designated as a PPC.

Special Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be eligible for SECRET security clearance.
  • Must possess a DOT FAA Commercial/ ATP certificate.
  • Must be able to pass a FAA Class II physical.
  • Must be able to pass Aircrew Refresher NASTP Training for Class 2 aircraft (formerly called RP2/R2), if qualification has lapsed.
  • Must attain all positional qualifications in type aircraft as stipulated by NAVAIRINST 3710.1F and the Contractor's Flight and Ground Operations manuals.
  • May require work outside of normal working hours due to contract requirements.
